4-17-26    THOUGHTS

We have another encouraging passage today.  We find things to apply to our lives to  “seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.”  We are in the business of “encouraging one another and building one another other up!”  We are told to “live in peace’!   These are assignments to the “blood bought Church.”  Admonishing, encouraging, helping, and being patient are to be part of who we are!  Always seek the good for ALL!

1Thes 5:11-15   Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.  12  But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, 13  and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another. 14  We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15  See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people.

Our Prayer:
O Father, may we be seekers of what is good.  Help us to love each other as we encourage and build one another up.  We praise and thank You, the only True and Living God. Our hope for eternity comes from You, through Christ Jesus.   May we be peacemakers living in peace.  
Help us to bless as You have blessed us.  Our prayer is in Jesus’ name,   Amen.
